You're talking about the four million enslaved descendants of Africans, right? The "property" which accounted for more than half the capital value in the United States? It sucked how they were emancipated, huh?

I have lived here for almost 16 years. I intend to go every year, but I've never quite managed to get down there.

I agree with you completely, but let's not get bogged down in politics here. If you guys want to talk about emancipation and States Rights and all of that, let's take it to Current Events (well, I thought not so current, but whatever).

I'm sure you'll get that Swedish pump working one of these years.

You know me so well. I have always wanted to look like a Tom of Finland drawing come to life.

Second hand as ususal. Italian jacket in Yorkshire tweed and a Ralph Lauren waist coat in linnen + RL cotton shirt. The tie is a favourite; handwoven in the 60´s.

Thank you, that's very kind. My reasons for not posting fits anymore, are least not frequently are twofold: I don't have so many opportunities to wear CM anymore, and most of what I wear is mostly repeating what I did before, so not interesting to post. I still intend to post a fit every now and then, though.

I've always wanted that too, but the closest I could get to that presently is to look like a Chesterfield sofa - leather covered and studded, but not quite the same thing.
