1. I'd like to announce that animated avatars are now available again. You'll have to reload, but they are once more possible.

We've been doing a ton of work behind the scenes. The site load speed was already under 1/2 of what Huddler's was, on average, and we installed cloudflare, which means that the site should be even faster. A ton more will go on in the weeks and months to come, and some things will be more visibile, and some less.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

So, I'm doing a new thing here, and if you check out the frontpage, you'll see that Caustic Man is the "Outfit of the day". I'll do this pretty much every weekday evening, and on Monday, that outfit will included Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, so I'm sure that competition will be fierce.

One other thing that I love about this guy is that he is using our gallery system. I'm going to encourage you guys to make your own personal galleries. We'll probably run a contest for the best galleries. They can be themed as you like, but a "WAYWT 'My username'" is a pretty good theme. At the end of the contest (um, I will have start it sometime) we'll do a poll, and the winner will get a custom title. I'm thinking "Poster Boy" is good, but suggestions will be taken.

Awesome stuff. What is this "gallery system" and how do we use it?

Wow, I truly feel honored. I've never gotten so much love on a fit. On my Gallery, I wanted to use it as a diary of my adventure in Classic Menswear so I kept all my early fits in it, no matter how bad. The first fits you see are the first I posted on here.

I think page 983 might have just set a record for average quality of fits. Great stuff from a lot of folks today, gents.

Murl, today's photos have a distinct (though more subdued) TTO vibe, down to the beard. That is an awesome suit.

Today. Hasty, hasty pic, rushing out the door. Didnt have time to check and notice the jacket was so misaligned in the full shot, so I spoilered it. I assure you, it fits, I was just hauling ass. [IMG]

Thanks for the reminder, Pliny--I always forget that we don't all see the same page layout.

It's a great feature of this platform that has poor navigability, and so is not used nearly as much as it ought to be. Go to galleries, then, upload photos, and then, and only then, can you create a new gallery. Here is a direct link: http://www.styleforum.net/gallery/album/add/user_id/1521, though that may just work for user = LA Guy

Welcome. I like it when people take risks (and also take decent photos that I can easily put on the frontpage).
