No way, I like the suede there....especially given the tie.
It is from Suitsupply
Can I get fourths on that suede shoe action? MF has the English sensibilities methinks.
And yet even some of the English agree with the 5!
I'm with MF on this one. I can't tie those shoes in with anything else in the fit. Maaaaaybe the olive stripes in the tie, but that's a stretch. It's a CBD fit and the shoes are too rural.
What's not to love? MF said that too to be fair.
I have lots of suede and like Euro's choice, could have gone darker on a different day too. Tally ho!
I wasn't hating on the suede, I was hating on the colour. If he had shown a full pic your eyes would've gone straight to the shoes. The suit/shirt/tie are all relatively uniform and cool colours, and then you have these bright suede shoes in a wonderfully warm and saturated colour. They do not relate to the outfit in any way whatsoever, which makes it look like a separate element. Also, he's wearing a conservatively patterned tie, a dark navy suit and a white hanky, which is all very CBD. A different square would have been better with these shoes.
My screen might be off, but they're bordering on orange/ginger suede, while I think that dark brown suede or black leather would've been much more tasteful, and congruent with the rest of the colours. Had he worn a brown tie, or one with warmer colours, the shoes would've worked, but right now they stand out too much. Looks very igent, and not in a good way.
Howard Yount (pants)
Sam Hober (tie)
That tie is tough to capture. Hober had it as a brown. Hopefully it qualifies for the challenge.
I'm with MF and Cox. Not a fan of the color of the suede in the context of the rest of the outfit.
After having seen europrep's pics on a regular monitor, I think I have to agree with MF. At least re. the colour.
Is "ginger suede" a reference to EFV?
