That there's poetry.
Congrats Cleav and Pliny.
Lol Cox you look messed up in that pic.
Oh, I obviously missed that it was Pliny's birthday as well. Have a great one!
Edit. Just saw that it was your daughters engagement people were congratulating on. Indeed a cause for celebration.
I thank you
What can I say? It was a great party. I laid out $1500 on booze and catering. There was a choice of three basic cocktails I think, plus beer and wine. The suit was a $100 job from the Shanghai Fabric Market - wore it once and then gave it away to a charity, I think. I worked up a playlist of about six hours' music, a mix of old stuff from my youth and some more contemporary beats.
Everybody got smashed. I OTOH became nicely tipsy and stayed expertly poised at that optimum level of decorous inebriation for the rest of the evening, as people gradually fell over all around me. One guy disappeared into a bedroom at 9pm and re-emerged at 1am, wondering whether the party had started yet. Another one fell over in the street on the way out, got up and kept staggering along as if nothing whatsoever had happened.
My only regret is that my GF was stuck in Shanghai - would have been great to have her there. I did resist various other temptations of the female variety, good lad that I am.
I'm with this wool/cashmere Cappelli tie........
Last week in Budapest:

Looked like an awesome do, @Cleav. Let me add my birthday wishes and a hearty congratulations to @pliny, who can now look forward to walking his daughter down the aisle (and the accompanying bill ).
