Blizzard-ready in NYC.
Some might argue that clip-on braces are A) lame and B) #menswear, but I had a chat with the dudes at The Armoury about them and I buy their argument – there's something desirably casual about them that fits my wardrobe and overall affect. Plus, they offer a huge comfort benefit to a sturdier gent such as myself. These are Liverano, grey with green leather.
Shirt is a Mazzarelli blue oxford from NMWA. Shoes are Alden x Need Supply. Suit from LBM 1911...sortof a faux donegal which I'm less and less thrilled with over time.
Another day in the treadmill.
Jacket & trousers - El corte inglese, Spain
Shirt & shoes - CT
Tie - Dege & Skinner
PS - Berg & Berg
New Brooks Bros tie.
A litte more colorful palette today
@DonCologne I like the socks and the tie, what is the fabric of the tie? thick wool?
Braddock, Pingson, and mr. Chris, outstanding.
MF, excellent idea to use the navajo with that SC, I never would have thought of that. Thanks for the inspiration!
The proportions look off to me. Looks like it the jacket's been shortened too much in length and the sleeves are definitely too short. Also I realise wearing clod-hopping boots for the incoming storm is wise, but they look like clown shoes coming out of such narrow tapered trousers.
Well done you. Nothing worse than pretendy porridge-munchers wearing checky skirts! As a rule, I try to NOT do what Idi Amin did!
Murl all full of win today.
Thanks. Trying to up the level of difficulty with the jacket/tie pairing.
Looks like you're ready for the next level already!
