I really like the colour/pattern combination here, and everything seems to fit very well. One minor gripe: try lowering the buttoning point on your next KW purchase (assuming it's MTM), but it might look high due to the camera angle.

Looking good Mr J I'm intrigued as to what tie I might reach for with that fit. I would have been looking at navy or brown grenadine and... plumped for the brown. Just thinking out loud. Nonetheless, looking good :nodding:

It was actually my very first jacket. I had to extend the sleeves. The second has a lowered buttoning point and longer jacket. The third will have a half inch longer on BP and inch longer on jacket. Live and learn. It's not bad enough to toss out in my book. But you are right.

    And thanks!

In the past... (obv same shirt and jacket).

I might also sport something brown-ish (I have a brown linen tie that could work).

I don't know much about Grenadines. They seem too proper to be paired with such a thin linen shirt as this.

Happy Humpday everyone. Very dreary day in Michigan, so the linen felt a little out of place. Apologies for the lighting and angle. Brown AE Strands on the bottom. Have a great day everyone!

Classic Burberry man. Can't deny it.

Yeah I was out of the office today at a fair (not the going-on-rides kind) and that was the result.

I have a similar one, from the time I did not know much about classic menswear and last time I worn it was 2 years ago (Yes I was a little bit a fashion victim).
That person from Burberrys, who decided to use the inner lining of their overcoats for everything else, is a genius, because people pry it out of their hands.
So if you see the standard guy, who wears the Nova glencheck pattern, I think it´s the better choice for a gentleman to wear a little bit more reserved tie.

Came home to a weird box at my door.

Oh yeah! Vanda! Decided to change and try it on with stuff I'd wear. I like it. Could have straightened the knot, but you get what's going on.

ss, the hat looks just a wee bit large. Do you have it pulled way down? If so, maybe let it sit a bit more lightly on your head?

Debut of navy seersucker jacket. Completely unconstructed. No lining, no canvas, no nuthin!
