The jacket is charcoal with a blue windowpane and the tie is black

I don't own any shoes that raffish. Also, I don't think I have a single suit that fits me that well. I gotta get out to see Frank and co....

I 'thumbed' this although the tie still feels a bit bright as the red contrasts the green of the jacket and is much more saturated. I could see that tie working much better with a classic navy blue blazer... IMHO of course. Gorgeous jacket, BTW.

You have a lot of nicely fitting suits. These are my most aggressive shoes.

Jfrater, I don't have a problem with the tie, but I do with the trousers. I will say this, you are BACK for me, after your last showing. Much better and well done.

Thanks. I can see a lighter enough blue working really well. And the collar pin was a late addition -- I decided it fit the vibe of the rig and my mood right before I buttoned the collar.
Thanks. I hear you on the trousers, I think -- I just bought some much more SF approved lighter gray flannels, but they need to be hemmed.
Thank you. The shaggy hair looked great one day out of ten, and the facial hair looked good when it was right on the line between scruff and stubble. But it's actually a lot easier to maintain the clean-cut look, and it does look better.

Last day of the semester. Final exams tomorrow. Super county outfit. Tattersall shirt, herringbone vest, houndstooth half norfolk jacket, flannel pants, argyle wool socks and suede norwegians. I may have the shoulders on the sport coat taken in and I need to have these pants lengthened. Oh and five pattern bingo.
