This is what he goes for though. I wish him the best in achieving that look because it's a very tough one to do decently.

Several years ago, I was at a hwe-sik (forced drinking after work) and one of my drunken colleagues got up to take a dump. He ended up accidentally wiping his ass with the back of his jacket (it got between the toilet paper and his crack). We made him throw the jacket away. It probably could have been dry cleaned. But it smelled like shit and he wasn't allowed to go home yet.

A few months previously I had been forced to drink so-maek (a foul mixture of soju and beer) out of my manager's shoe. Hazing is alive and well in Korean companies.

Black. Cheap. I was fourth or fifth (or possibly third), so the insides had been cleaned out by the previous drinkers. After each of us had drained a shoeful, he put the shoe back on and wore it the rest of the night.

I'm actually trying to wear everything because I don't have any space in my trunk. :( I'd never think to wear a sweater and a waistcoat at the same time. I'll be honest I kind of liked the jacket with the waistcoat, and I might wear the combination again. Would have worn a solid tie though, burgundy/rust, maybe olive brown. Would wear blue or gray flannels instead of jeans too, think blue denim also better. Related: don't people generally not button jacket when wearing waistcoats? Or at least it's acceptable not to.

Speaking of which how does one fit all the ties and pocket squares and shoes when travelling. It feels impossible. I couldn't even bring a laptop.

Also wtf/lol at the Clags stories.

Edit: wanted to add also that I realize it was extremely GQ/tryhardesque, which is an aesthetic I sometimes find interesting and fun to play around with but it's not the end goal of what I'm looking for, just something I like to prod at (as in fits like this is in no way what I hope would be my defining look), and I've realized at this point things that look good in a single shot may not in real life, but I feel like that kind of fashion is still interesting to look at and think about.

I have a tie carrying case. It looks like a giant breast wallet. Both awesome and unnecessary.

I generally just bring one or two ties. Hankies are easy, just bring white linen and use the same one every day you're away.

I generally do yes. I usually pack two pairs and wear a third. One pair is always a beater pair for rain or whatever. I will bring one set of trees and put them in after wearing.

pB's always watching you, you just don't know it. He's like Santa Claus, but more sarcastic.

    Cheers,

    Ac

I first read this as "I'm glad pB is black." I was confused.
