    @NewYorkIslander , I shot for the first time over thanksgiving. It wasn't really all that exciting for me, but I can see the allure. Would have been more fun skeet shooting or something!

    I shot an M1 garand or another equivalent. That was really cool, especially since it was essentially the rifle that won the war.

    I personally thought the shoes were the worst part of it, but it's purely my opinion.

    There are some who would blush at my collection. It's probably the only thing I have more of than ties.

    I don't know about Kentucky, but here in New York City you can't have one if you wanted one.

    Yes, I have heard that that is the case. Unfortunately for me I will be moving to Chicago in several months where things aren't much better. In fact, I may have to store most of my collection out of state at the in-laws.
