I like the color scheme and simplicity of this, but I really don't like the fit of the jacket. In particular, the button stance/waist on this jacket is way too high. I think it is very unflattering. The length is a personal preference, but I like my jackets to at least come down to the top of my thumb. I would recommed at least two inches longer. I think the tie width is fine.

That´s the highest button stance I had ever seen.

Thanks for the feedback. I second your and Don's view on the button stance; should be a pretty easy fix at the tailor, don't you think?

No, the button stance is too high. Unless your tailor can get rid of a buttonhole and recut the whole front of the jacket, there's nothing that can be done.

But the jacket's too short anyway.

Braddock, that green donegal is gonna get all the love, but I love the zig-zag knit with the gingham shirt.

Catching up with the thread after the weekend. Some really nice fits the last couple of pages. To name just a few: @An Acute Style , @clarinetplayer , @kulata , @EliodA , @Cleav . And @Mhmt83 with a very strong first post and @RedDevil10 dropping an awesome slipper fit.
