@GMMcL, right back atcha! The FC is serious business, you know.
I think this is one of those rare occasions where a white shirt would work much better...

Another day! Today we have:
Suit: Kiton (cashmere)
Tie: Brioni (vicuna - close up added)
Shirt: local shop
Shoes: John Lobb
The suit is so light it doesn't feel like you are wearing anything!
It's not the suit that's light - it's your wallet!
I kid. Beautiful suit! Enjoy!
When in Rome...
Pretend I rolled back down the jeans a little.
Love the jacket!
I got it at a very good highly discounted price on eBay
If you're gonna be that crisp and put-together up top, you can't wear jeans. It looks corny.
Indeed. A pair of ivory colored flannels would retain the look and be more in-line with the desired textures IMO. Although I'm not sure the look is my bag to begin with.
I like the top half, though I'd like it even more if the jacket wasn't pulling on the button (but that conversation's been had elsewhere) and if the tie had a dimple.
I'll pretend you're not wearing jeans at all but instead are wearing light colored wool trousers with a nice sharp crease.
With that image in mind I'm happily giving you a thumb.

You've got all the goods for some awsm fits this one's terrific. IMO
I'll pretend that you only posted this pic. Then, I congratulate you on a good looking suit and the only critique I'd have would be about the lack of a dimple in the tie and perhaps the fold of your PS. I wouldn't have to mention
- the buttoning point which is way too high
- the trousers, as others have already mentioned
- the blue shoes that are way too casual for the top half
And I wouldn't have such a hard time trying to figure out what's in the bottle behind you
@jfrater I don't care for suits with stripes like that at all, but that tie is wonderful!
