I've been around clothes for a while now. I know all my measurements by heart. I let someone measure me up in their showroom and the whole suit came back too slim everywhere and short in the arms and pant legs in my opinion. That is how a lot of guys are wearing suits nowadays, but it just not my thing.

Thanks. That's exactly what I was going for. The cuffs are 1 3/4. I usually go with 2, but I scaled it back a bit. I wanted to wear the pants by themselves and wanted a good cuff on them. The material is 100% worsted wool super 130s. I have maybe two items in my wardrobe with the same texture: a pair of grey pants and a plaid sport coat/orphaned suit jacket.

Cheers! On the swatch it looked like a lite brown herringbone, but in pics it comes up much more green. IDK.
I'll never buy another paisley tie as long as I live. This one's beautifully constructed and makes a good knot tho (Hober) so it gets a run on the odd Friday.

It certainly is a slim fitting suit, but you can obviously pull it off. I totally get it if it isn't your thing though, I feel the same way. Trousers are a touch too short, but only a touch IMO, and the cuffs go a long way in hiding it. I am highly skeptical of the made to measure suit done sight unseen based on past personal experiences, but this turned out a lot better than I've seen from other places.

    So you like the material?

I took note of the place. Price range is reasonable as well. They have some crazy suit offerings that make me wish I had more money and occasion to wear suits heh.

Pliny, I like big paisley ties, so I like that tie.

AAS, sorry you're not happy with the suit. It does look a bit tighter than what you normally wear, but it ain't bad at all. I think the trouser cuffs look so high because the leg opening is a little narrower than you've been wearing lately.

Claghorn, the tie is lovely, though I was very worried when I couldn't make out the windowpane on the trousers.

How funny. I had never hears of them until I came across a few suits recently in a thrift store. I was actuall impressed by some of the handwork. Plenty of other shortcomings tho.

Thanks. I'd like the pants to be a bit longer as well. I really like Knot Standard's style options for their suits and sport coats. They had me at 3/2 roll, triple patch pockets, and wide lapels.

Yeah, I like the fabric. It attracted some lint and stuff throughout the day, but it wrinkled a lot less than my other wool stuff at the same weight.

I do like the suit in general. It's more of a thing of me getting use to wearing something this slim. The pants are a bit of an enigma. The thigh and leg opening are the same as the pants I wore the past two days. The rise, seat and waist are different though. It makes a big difference.

I wonder if you'd have had better results just sending them an odd pair of pants and a jacket for reference i.e. luxire.
