Thanks heldentenor! Yes, it's E Zegna.
Thanks for the advice, which I appreciate. A lot of what you say is true, but the tie is actually navy with a fina grenadine-like texture. Didn't come out in the iPhone snaps.
I don't mind this shirt with this jacket. It's not sedate, but hey, I'm not sedate. Perhaps a lighter blue tie would work better? And maybe just a TV-fold white linen square?
do u know what cloth Sander?
I was going just by how it looks. It looks off to me, but I do understand why perhaps not everyone would feel the same way. Beauty is in the eye of the holder. Coherency, however, is not. oke:
Happy holidays, Elio!!

Today, and for the Friday challenge. My favourite old dog boots, nearly 29 years old, and vintage silk PS courtesy of dear departed Father in Law.
Formal Friday... vintage (made in 1960) 3-piece and bow-tie. Details and more pictures are in this week's Friday Challenge thread:
Cleav, I really really like that fit a lot.
+1, looking good old bean.
The lapels look fantastic for such an old jacket! Great fit!
Very nice looking outift. The only "but" is that those braces don't have button hole, too bad. I don't usually like clip-on braces. The rest is great (fit, colors, shoes, etc)
Sexy Milanese buttonhole and sublime check on check. The fit is what killed the overall look
I don't care for them at all. I'm always a bit surprised to see otherwise well dressed guys wearing them.
