^^^^ For dragging yourself off the sick bed, Cleav, you look mighty fine, sir.

Also, it seems that, in a very small field, I've won the Friday Challenge. (Accidents do happen.) I am up for suggestions as to this upcoming week's challenge theme - make your suggestions known, before I make a decision as to this matter - the sooner, the better.

As for myself, it's Tuesday - monsoon season here in NYC, and the second three-piece suit of the week. As it is, I'm taking my staff from work out for a holiday lunch, so I thought I should look as if I can afford the check.

    Suit - New & Lingwood
    Shirt - Tyrwhitt
    Tie - Canali
    Braces - Paul Stuart
    Cufflinks - Longmire
    Vintage watch chain
    Boots - Paul Stuart
    Raincoat - Burberry
    Scarf - Zegna
    Hat - Weatherproof

You're most kind Upr. Tis only man flu and everyone else is out for the day so I've no audience to play to :violin:

Looking your customary distinguished self today, if I may so! :nodding:

Executing a light blue tie is a skill I've yet to master. I want to like them, and I have several. But I just can't seem to do it as well as is done here -- particularly impressed with how dark the suit is in contrast to the tie; my instinct is always to pair light with light.

    Aw. :embar:

Edit: Cleav: That tie is excellent.

I like the color and pattern combination here. The shoes are an especially good choice. However, this isn't so well-proportioned as some of what you've posted. My preference is for trousers that aren't quite so skinny (those could be an inch wider through the leg and still count as slim), but I think they pretty objectively don't work with the strong-shoulder, medium gorge, none-too-trim jacket.

You posted a different sportcoat rig a while back with a light-colored plaid jacket which looked good with skinny trousers, but that was a very close-fitting jacket with a high lapel gorge.

Hope you don't mind the the feedback. I like your overcoat, BTW.
