In west Germany, Cologne etc, you will find Berliner easily.

:satisfied: and it sounds so crunchy! Which is totally wrong, of course.

That was a picture of a Dutch Berliner Bol. Get your facts straight, man.

I know the term Krapfen only for "Berliner" without jelly.

    Haha thanks!
    Thanks!

Yeah maybe, but 99% of the time I was wearing a coat, so the green backing was covert.

t's back to a normal working Monday. I'm wearing some of the new swag from abroad, and new shoes from the Black Friday sales.

    Suit - BB MTM
    Shirt - BB
Tie - Turnbull & Asser - new from abroad
Cufflinks - Wedgwood - new from abroad
    Braces - Paul Stuart
Shoes - Florsheim Royal Imperial (made by Magnanni)
Hat - Selentino, via JJ Hat Center, NYC
    Scarf - Fortnum & Mason

(In reviewing the photos, I decided that the scarf is superfluous, considering the weather, but it does make a grand effect, no?)

I know, I was just commenting on the look presented in the photo. I have several scarves like yours but they all have cloth backings that match the background of the silk side.

But the cashmere backing matches the silk side. [IMG]

Thanks Pliny! I am digging your houndstooth as well. Really wish I got in on that Minnis re-issue.
