As always, thanks to all those who like my pictures. Some of you might have noticed that I don't post mirror selfies. This is for two reasons. The first is that I am either with someone or I just ask random people to take my picture. The second is that I take really bad mirror selfies, as this mirror selfie in an antique shop mirror shows........

Terima kasih, G. For the design of the batik patterns she worked together with an old lady who makes traditional Javanese patterns. The designs of the garments and accessories are all done by my wife.
(Apologies if this is a bit OT, guess I'm just a proud husband right now

Congratulations. Incidentally, my wife loves batik. I'd be interested in hearing more. Maybe not on this thread, but PM me.

Cheers,

Fok.

Got to say Clags, I think it really works. It doesn't even look like there are four patterns... which in my opinion, is the benchmark of success when combining four patterns.

New shirt with bigger spread and a new old Brooks Bros tie from ebay - doing a puckering thing with the silk that I haven't had to deal with before. Will try a looser knot to see if that helps. Also tried to do a linen, blue-edged square with a puff approach. All on the standard-issue navy suit.

I agree that it works well, though in fairness it's four subtle patterns. Well, 3, square aside. Fairly restrained for a "bingo", but also rather elegant. Classic Clags.

Who makes the suit @GMMcL ? I don't love jodhpurs personally, but they work in the context of the tweed. Nice.
