I really like the jacket but I'm not sure what this outfit is trying to say. White spread collar (very city) shirt with an action back hunting jacket (very country/outdoors) and Belgian loafers (very indoors and probably the last choice of footwear for bad weather)? All the elements are nice but they don't really go together IMO.
I got the pants and jacket back from the tailor yesterday. I had the sleeves on the jacket lengthened. I think the white shirt looks better than a blue shirt would here. I had a hard time picking out a pocket square. Maybe not the best. What do you guys think about these shoes?
Charcoal trousers AAS, right? And that jacket looks Awesome.
For those who like such a thing: a recent discussion about the merits of charcoal trousers here: http://www.styleforum.net/t/309586/whnay-s-good-taste-thread/12690#post_7458801
Wow! Obviously I'm nothing but a lurker and occasional poster, and unversed in Internet etiquette, but isn't an "administrator" someone who is supposed to mitigate and/or defuse these kinds of disputes? And this is his signature? How is that allowed? That can't be helpful. Did I miss a winky face, or something, indicating that it's all in fun?

Pants colour is best represented in the second shot.
Apart from anything else, Don is neither humourless nor an arsehole.
I remember with a chuckle his crack about Bavaria funding the former East Germany's reconstruction. I'd say Don's probably got a pretty dry wit IRL.
I support Don.
In a forum where so many members are from North America, I’ve always been grateful for the diversity provided by the contributions of our European members. That includes DC.
Thanks. The pants are brown flannel.
I too support DC. He came here to learn and now he teaches!
If he leaves SF will suffer for it.
Wow, that is cruel. What is that place anyways? That was my first time poking around it. If admins portray that kind of public cruelty, I personally wouldn't want to be apart of it. And I actually see some affiliates from SF that are active there. I may reconsider my future actions for those that condone that type of public airing.
