Cheers, it's a Drakes grenadine. Don't think I've ever seen a striped knit before.
I've seen some horizontal stripes, never a 'repp' ish stripe on a knit.
It's brew-thirty...long day of concept presentations and meeting...only now posting. By my estimation though I probably shouldn't
Excellent fit. I really like the textures, but that tie knot is terrible.
That's not a suit right?
@in stitches , I think black shoe was the right choice. And for the first time, I am completely happy with that suit. (Didn't like it with the hat the first time, too much brown the second time). Perfect.
Why thanks you kindly. Though I do not particularly share all your views in this instance, all the same, much appreciated.
Also, after looking at it a few times, I do think black shoe was the way to go, especially considering the black overcheck in the tie (which actually was the reason that I chose the black shoes over brown).
Hat was second time, you seen to have forgotten the first time.
Feel kinda dirty saying that.
Very true. I always go Victoria but it is a bad knot for this tie. The quality of the tie itself is terrible too btw.
Today. Got three fall/winter sport coats back from the tailor. I had all the sleeves lengthened. The buttons on this jacket where falling off so he tightened them up for me.
V nice. Every time you employ non bit loafers in a fit where non bit loafer are the better choice, it makes my heart sing.
Thanks. These are my rain shoes i.e. the shoes I wear in the rain because I don't care about them. I really need to replace them. They've seen better days.
So the Victoria knot is just what is known around here as the double four in hand? In your picture it does look a little odd, i must say.
Nice excuse, but really its because you are moving away from bit loafers right?
