1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Damn that's dandy! I love it! Might not get a lot of love around here, but if working in some kind of artistic-oriented workplace, that's good!

@southernstyle I love the combination of this look overall, however I'd say some of the proportions seems a little off maybe the shoulders? Plus in the last pic the tie pin is slightly slanted.
However the colors and patterns are really nice and work really well. I also love the use of the books tie to highlight the rest of the look.

Nice to see a tab collar. May I ask who made this one?

I like your house. The living room area is not partitioned and shares an open area with the kitchen.
Oh and I like the jacket.

If you're shutting down for Christmas may I take this opportunity to wish you and yours compliments of the season and all you wish for in 2015

Today, went for layers against the wind. Toasty.

I would make sweet, sweet love to every article of clothing in these pics except the shoes and shirt. Nothing wrong with either of them per se. I'm just not a total man-whore. The jacket, vest, tie and pants just need to know that I think they're special and that I don't say that to all the other clothes.

Thanks on both. The house has a pretty open layout...I like it to. It's nothing fancy or huge, but it's comfy.

    Really nice Fall look, Cleav.

Good day gentlemen. For the challenge. The tie (only one that I own that qualifies) is out of season so some compromises were necessary. I'd rather have worn my denim blue linen sc. [IMG]

That combination is beautiful and masterfully put together. My first impression is I liked the sports coat a lot. Then I noticed how you blended houndstooth with striped and dots. I've been taught not to mix more than two patterns together. What is very nice and shows attention to detail is the sports coat has subtle colors shades found in the tie and shirt.

The sports coat is awesome but together the sum is greater than the parts. I hope I develop an ability to match shirts, ties, and sports coats as well as you have done where they compliment one another.

Another post with someone not wearing a tie. I walked up to UCLA Med Center this morning wearing an old Brooks Brothers Brookstweed jacket and an old Brooks Brothers (Made in Scotland with saddle shoulders) Shetland crew neck pullover pulled over a Land's End flannel shirt (with no tie), Jim Thompson pocket square, L L Bean cord trousers, and Allen-Edmonds Ridgeways and discovered that, unlike physicists, doctors think that doing the same thing over and expecting different results is not insanity.....
