The weather in NYC is a bit colder than normal for this time of year, encouraging one to seek comfort in flannel. As it is, I've a party for the Frick museum to attend this evening, at the Lotos Club, a venue to which I've never been before. As it presented itself as a good excuse to dress up, dress up I have.

Suit - Oliver Brown, London
Shirt - Brooks Brothers MTM
Tie - Drake's
Cufflinks - The Persian Shop, custom order
Braces & scarf - New & Lingwood
Pocket square - Harvie & Hudson
Overcoat - Turnbull & Asser
Hat - Laird, London

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
