Quote: I honestly didn't put that much thought to it as you seem to have done. I just went with my gut feeling, and I felt good about the outfit when I saw it. It was refreshing.

Sure, it could be better coordinated with regard to the blue-ish hue of the SC and the tie. But then again, there are A) much worse fits on here - imo - that gets a lot more positive attention than Gerry's fit and B) there will always be "better options" as long as we don't always select the optimal combinations. Then again, that would be boring in the long run. I don't think the jacket is to close in tone to the trousers, but that could be my monitor at work. I agree on the relation between top and bottom half. But I don't think it's bad. I just think it could be better.

Here's what I thought when I saw the outfilt: unusual trouser color and, for me, difficult shoes, which he managed to put together nicely. As I said what really caught my attention was the bottom half. As for the top I agree he could have chosen a tie in the same color family as burgundy in order to bring together top and bottom.

EDIT: And thanks for questioning my comment on his fit. It forces me to give it a second thought and write down why I like/dislike some parts.

Thanks, kulata! This is PRL, 95/5 wool/cashmere. Very much like the suit on its way to me from this guy ↓↓↓

NLDS Game 4: Wild pitch helps Giants knock off Nationals, advance to NLCS

The road has been long and frequently ugly, but Ishi's HR was about as good a way to win a pennant as I can think of.

Where are the regular posters?!

I see a lot of activity on NMWA thread. I think SF as a whole is having a slow day.
