I love my John Lobb City II (1st and 2nd pic), but have always been curious about the Chelsea from Edward Green.

I had chance today to try out the Chelsea; however, the lasts were not to my liking. Last 82 was too sharp for my taste and Last 202 was too round for me. Guess I'll stick with my City II for now...

Both, the City and the Chelsea, are nice and great classics. I prefer the Chelsea on the 202 last with its typical round toe.

Another lovely cap toe Oxford is the Gaziano & Girling Oxford, here on the GG06 last.

Lucky you that you weren't picked for jury duty. Being better dressed might well have assisted you in this endeavor. As for the button stance, it is a bit high, but that seems to be in keeping with the longer proportions of the jacket itself (my suits from Ede & Ravenscroft run long as well, with similar proportions). With the jacket unbuttoned, it nowhere near as noticeable.

Unsure about the button stance on this jacket. Thoughts. View attachment 2256225

Higher than what you usually wear, but seems in good relation with your height and proportions (and none apparent of the problems associated with a higher stance - lapels breaking, skirt flaring etc). I find it a very presentable outfit. Also lovely corduroy, great color and nice flapped patch pockets. 👌
