Also - All my jackets are 3B - almost always worn as a ‘hard three’ but if you’re not gonna do the top button this is how a 3B should look. None of those hideous vestigial button holes in the bottom of the lapels!😀

Spier jacket? Not my style, but looks good.
Too bold? Nay, just a tweedy tattersall, granted a pattern usually seen only on shirts.

You want bold, here's bold. Mine, though the picture is the sellers cuz I'm not in the habit of hanging mine out on the barn shingles.

A few years back, I discovered that a certain shunned label in its very early incarnation produced exquisite tweeds, often in patterns so bold that there almost wasn't room for the pattern to repeat itself. Like the example shown. I have maybe a half dozen of these from the same house. Chaps, believe it. These jackets come from the early '80s. Very thick wool and precision cut. Early Chaps stuff can be told by Ralph Lauren's label name all in caps. True with early Polo labels also.
