I love this one. I like the contrast between the warm colour of the jacket and the cold one of the trousers. This example confutes the affirmed theory.
Thanks. I think the tie does a good job of tying together the brown and blue.

yeah I am digging the stripe combo and the extended strong shoulders on that jacket. do you know, is it PRL?

If you're speaking of my husband's suit, it's SuitSupply, from several years ago, I believe.

My version of a picture (on the left) J Press posted on Facebook.

Have no idea where J Press took the picture they posted on Facebook.

I took my picture in Face Out Land (aka the new Barnes & Noble store in Santa Monica).

The new Barnes & Noble store in Santa Monica is half the size of the old Barnes & Noble store in Santa Monica.

The old store was Store 2575. Therefore logically (as Mr. Spock would say) the new store is Store 1287 1/2.

Brooks Brothers jacket and PPBD shirt, Vineyard Vines tie, Squarextraordinaire pocket square, Orvis corduroy trousers, and Allen-Edmonds shoes.

Killing two stones with one bird (as Vegans say).

Stifling comments about me not smiling and getting the suede elbow patches on the jacket to show.

Cheese and pickle sandwiches, a scone, tea, and me in the Tea Room at Ye Olde King's Head in Santa Monica CA.

Also wearing Gold Toe Argyle socks. The only way to get the socks to show is to take a picture sitting down.

On the off chance anyone is wondering how long have I worn Argyle socks, I have worn Argyle socks since dinosaurs roamed the Earth.
