Nice Shantung tie! I don't know a lot about the origin, but I assume from the name that the silk is of Asian origin, but then the fabric for your tie was actually produced/woven from that silk in Como, Italy?

(BTW, I have one Shantung tie myself - which I really like for the texture - but never really pondered the backstory before.)
They are made in Italy. And to be more specific the tie I am wearing in the pic is a

With the red shirt and tie you call to mind a Camorra enforcer.
Yeah I can see that lol.
Not a bad outfit: replace that flashy shirt and the shoes and it will look considerably better. Not a fan of the braces either, but it's secondary.
As for the shirt, maybe better in a way you'd like, but not so much better in a way I'd like. I'm not clueless. Tasteless? Maybe. But I could be a little more conservative if I liked, and I often am, but I like stuff like this just as much. As for the suspenders perhaps its just having it so close to the shirt color isn't your thing, if it were with a more typical shirt, like a light blue stripe or check on white, I imagine they'd be more of a natural fit.
As for the shoes I can see they're not really working out. Despite being quality leather boots they've still got a squarish toe and it comes out looking weird. Gonna see about getting some regular cap toe oxfords.

It is still summer in Germany, so as always in the last weeks, my choice felt on cotton and linen.

I’m off to have lunch and meet with my friend who made today’s shirt. I was one of his experiments and it turned out pretty good for the most I might tweak the neck size and sleeve length a smidge but it’s a extremely comfortable shirt I’m wearing it with a brooks brothers 1818 Madison suit. I find that this line of suits fits my frame very well. The key to a well fitting jacket for me is first and foremost be honest about my size and weight im no longer a high school track runner so I need to stop trying to fit into slim fight clothing, I tried that for too long and posted pictures on here trying to pull of the slim fit look and I apologize for subjecting you all to such horrors😂 this fit isn’t perfect but I feel it’s definitely a large step in the right direction!
