I am sharing your struggle, and frankly I'm surprised it's picked up so many likes so quickly. While recognising that yellow is a really hard colour to make work in such large items, I don't think it's up to @kulata 's usual high standards. I think this comes down to two things: 1. the tie and the jacket contain different kind of yellow which are too close, and 2. the top half and the bottom half down't really have any relationship to each other. I think either lighter grey or cream or white or very pale blue pants would work better - either that or this might be a rare occasion for the dreaded navy or go all in with more saturated cobalt blue pants.

    Thanks. [IMG]

I agree with 2. I think it would look better if the shoes were a lighter brown and/or the pants were a lighter grey. It could look better, but who cares with a silhouette that nice.

I always clean before putting back in the case. But it was moldy and the pads were falling off. I dumped it already. But I guess it needs the open air and to be taken out on a regular basis. It sat in the case for over a year.

Kulata those jacket sleeves are too long, but otherwise i can dig it. Ties a bit matchy.

Elio, my bigger issue is with the socks. In any case, in order of what I think would look best with that excellent suit, tie, shirt ensemble:

    Black shoes
    Oak Brown shoes

    The shoes you have on.

    Only love.

Yeah, the socks are a bit too busy. Only black socks I have ATM though.
Opinions are obviously divided on the shoes (thanks for all the feedback, guys), but next time I'll probably try dark brown.

I think that would be a winner. My personal preference for the combo would be black, but I dont think I could argue that it would be better than dark brown.

    Super cool.

May I infer that is not a suit? If so, what color pants?

Got me thinking about what u can mix with black tie + greys. Black shoes r optimal but change the tie to navy or browns and all the other shoe colors open up.

(Some rearrangement of PS during photo shoot...)

New trousers are coming. These were available to wear today - I realise they don't stand up to close scrutiny.
