What suit is this? Not your usual Suit Supply! Lovely lapels!

It is a Polo suit that I purchased from Forum member Urban Composition.

Is the tie black or navy? Looks very nice overall, but black tie and tan-ish shoes might be a bit questionable.

Edit: I see others brought up the point about shoes. If you didn't want to want to wear black, oxblood or burgundy would have been the way to go.

@EliodA @Cleav
Who makes your fine suits?
(Warning - this question may have been asked before)

@clarinetplayer
Dumb question - so when I opened up my clarinet case (been a year) the clarinet had algae or some green stuff. I am dumping it out but how do you maintain yours?

Yikes? Mold? Was there moisture in your clarinet? Do you swab it out after every playing? If mold, I would take the clarinet to a competent instrument repair person to have it cleaned.. This should not happen. Very unusual.

Thank you Roy Al, and all others who have wished me Happy Birthday.

In the wake of my birthday, and with a day off from work, and no set plans, I did some errands, and indulged myself a bit in midtown (avoiding, as much as humanly possible, the Columbus Day parade on Fifth Avenue).

I recycled last night's attire for this mission.

First, a re-block of a green snap-brim fedora that's been wonky for years:

Then, purchase of a grey Homburg - JJ Hat Center:

Then, a walk up Madison to Paul Stuart, for a bow tie, then further on to Cartier, for a new watch strap for my tank (the watch strap was by far the most expensive thing purchased - grrrrr).
