@sugarbutch @chocsosa Thanks for the feedback. I think it's actually the jacket and not the vest. I think a brown jacket would have been much better. The last time I wore the vest I paired it with a light brown corduroy jacket. I think my brown herringbone tweed jacket would have been better today. Alas, the black watch has failed me. I'll try again next week sans black watch.

Has anyone dared to have pants made with no pockets? That would be an interesting look and something to experiment. I'm trying it myself when I go to my first appointment with my tailor this afternoon.

I've seen sweatpants with pockets before.. by the way, why are you up at 2:23 am?

I was reading a thread by @mafoofan about it (although he asked about no rear pockets).

    http://www.styleforum.net/t/47698/no-rear-pockets-on-bespoke-pants-thoughts

I mean, I'm getting them made, no one is going to see my arse; and I don't even use them. So, I don't see the point in having them.

yes, only suits tho. I've experimented with the 4 combos and I like one pocket right side best. No pockets is just a little bit too feminine IMO - not that anyone other than work colleagues is likely to notice - and 2 pockets feels like more of an odd trew thing.

edit: I''m assuming u mean no back pockets. No pockets at all would be off.

Really like your outfit, specially the jacket, very very nice. :)

Nice color and textures combination. The jacket looks amazing.
To me, simply perfect. The color palette you used is perfect.

Very much my style. Like the cardigan and shoes (or are they boots?).

Simple but effective. Nice tie for a very good looking suit.

That doublé breasted jacket on your second picture is AMAZING, I love it.

AWESOME pants... I am in love with that fabric.

very casual, you should post on that other thread (it is a bit abandoned I feel). I like it.
Nice combination of pieces. I really like it. From what I have been able to see so far, I think your style is one of my favorites from this community.

I was being intentionally snarky about the sweatpants  … just joking. Yeah I hear you in that it may be more sleek and minimalist (although I thought at first you meant no pockets at all not just rear pockets) but also I think they're kinda like the eyebrows of pants. I mean I don't use my eyebrows and they're not noticeable a'la Anthony Davis, but my gosh if you suddenly didn't have eyebrows you'd look pretty freaking weird. However, as you say if they're only arse pockets on a suit then no one will see them.

btw… I'm in Cali, and although I am a night owl, it wasn't that late here! I went to bed shortly before 2am :nodding:

I think navy blue pants would have been better.
