An unexpected Day 6 of posing for my portrait - work concentrated on my face, and the removal of the mirror frame behind my head (to be re-positioned at a later date).

I took one photo directly at the end of today's session using ambient sunlight in the room, and two later, under artificial light, hence the color change. A detail is given showing the more subtle modeling of the face.

Looks nice! I know it is not complete yet, but doesn't your right hand seem a bit small?

I think this work much better with a lighter blue shirt and no tie.

I agree with you about the shirt. The fact is that I like this shirt, but it is not a good choice for wear with a summer palette. But why no tie? Is it because of the suede shoes?

An even more unexpected Day 7 of posing for my portrait - a day full of unanticipated activity, with both contractors for the building coming to patch a hole in the wall made for testing the gas piping, and then the artist becoming available at the last moment, one in rapid succession after the other.

The artist worked on my face, head, and on my right hand, articulating them more, and correcting things that he saw as wrong. Results as below.

Trying (and failing) to look serious and dignified to impress a new friend.

He didn't seem impressed when I mentioned Yogi Bear was my favorite cartoon character. Nor did he seem impressed when I mentioned Bear Country Jamboree was my favorite thing at Disneyland.

Likewise he was indifferent when I mentioned Doc Savage Man Of Bronze. Maybe he wasn't bronze although he looked bronze to me. Maybe he wasn't even a bear. Someone thought he may be a badger.

I'm sure I would have done better if he had been a girl rather than a boy.

Extra Added Attraction: Fire equipment in Los Angeles have their station locations on them. Here's the engine from the Skid Row station.

Talented and very young - he turns 23 next week.
He makes me sick! 😁

Similarly I remember watching a bit of Harry and Meghan’s wedding and they had a young lad playing the cello flawlessly and it turned out he was only 19. I mean people like this haven’t been on the planet long enough to have gotten that good at their craft. I could practice this kind of thing for centuries and not come close!
