Where's the jacket from? The cloth looks familiar.
Great take on the classic security guard look. (I kid! The loafers, orange tie, pocket square, and striped shirt take it firmly out of that category)

Discovered this beautiful wool-silk-linen/cotton piece at Sartorial Shanghai yesterday. It was my first time fitting into an Orazio and I was really tempted to cop this particular piece. The jacket was soft in structure but also beautifully shaped to flatter the body.
This cloth broke my pre-conceived notion that WSL/C pieces are only suitable in SS, as this piece is clearly capable going into AW in most Asian countries. One could even argue it's more of an AW cloth than that for SS.

Am I the only one who doesnt know what many of these (non) acronyms mean? Not just here, all over the place. The Yankees now play for ALCS (some years, anyway) and Billy Joel plays MSG once a month. (Ok, I know what those two mean.) Dont "the Pennant" and "the Garden" have a more romantic ring to them? Sorry for the curmudgeonly off topic rant. Haha.
wow, that is quite the leap (or multiple leaps) there…..^
I'm with you. Many posters use abbreviations I think because they think they're cool. Assuming most posts nowadays are dictated rather than typed, why is it so difficult to actually speak what these abbreviations mean? O the petty peeves, they rule my life.
Yep.This seems like a pretty big assumption...
You're right. This seems like a pretty big assumption...
Why is it incumbent on the reader to decipher (and giving up, ask) what a poster means when an abundance of initials are used? (You were sharper than me in deciphering wsl/c). Whatever, this thread's about showing off clothes, sorry for the detour....it never hurts to just ask if someone uses an acronym you don’t know.
for this post I assume:
WSL/C means wool, silk, linen (or cotton) blend
It’s ok, you don’t need to apologise. It’s just something that irks me from time to time, old fart that I am….haha…but everyone does it, so it‘s not you, it’s me (to quote George Constanza 😂). Sorry if it sounded heavy handed. Carry on……Oh wow did not intend for this to become controversial at all. And yes WSLC was intended to be wool silk linen cotton. And yes as well for seasons. Was not sure how to put them down without adding dashes. Sorry for the confusion.
The most amusing part of all this is that if you had paid attention, he actually spelled out Wool-Silk-Linen / Cotton in his first sentence before later using the acronym. It’s ok, you don’t need to apologise. It’s just something that irks me from time to time, old fart that I am….haha…but everyone does it, so it‘s not you, it’s me (to quote George Constanza 😂). Sorry if it sounded heavy handed. Carry on……
Highs have been in the upper 80s/low 90s since I started summer school. Luckily, I’m at work by 8 and it’s still cool out. Wearing this green linen shirt again. I like this combo.
