Yes...so boringly elegant...

I really like it...just not so sure about the suede loafers...

Did someone just say "suede loafers"?

Something about this jacket looks a bit off to me. The hips flare out and my shoulders look narrow. Could it be that the jacket is too long? If too long, how much do you think I should get it shortened by? (Cashmere 50%/linen 47%/silk 3% blend, fully canvassed.)

That's seriously cool! I've sprayed some shoes (not with nano though) and have always been too terrified to do that haha. I have a pair of unlined suede chukkas that I want to beat up on that I've waterproofed. Might get tank half soles once the leather soles are a bit more worn in!

I like the tie. Are those AS loafers?

On fit, you need to let the arms hang at the sides. Impossible to really assess in the pic as you posted. Length requires head to foot shot for accurate judgments. I don't think the shoulders are as flattering on you as they could be (a more natural, less padded shoulder might work better).

Could also try to have the padding removed, right?

Tie is branded Richard James but I'm sure it was knocked out by Chinese seamstresses at some random OEM sweatshop in northern Italy. You're right though, it's nice. Shoes are Carmina.

Here's a robopose for you. My arms really do hang like this when completely relaxed.

Oh man, you've got bad posture. Time to hit the gym and try to correct it before you get a hunchback! My apologies if this is a known issue.

It's a known issue. I have a condition known as Scheuermann's Disease. Partial collapse of the T6-8 vertebral bodies, leading to a fixed thoracic kyphosis, easily seen on my lateral chest x-ray. A disease of adolescence; cause largely unknown; surprisingly common.

I have a mild case, but it causes me to compensate by throwing my stomach forward and my shoulders/neck back in order to keep my head vertical. It's also associated with a barrel chest.

My parents always used to berate me for slouching. I should've torn them a new one.

Btw, this is the exact moment where I thought "Wait, don't I have to be somewhere? Oh yeah right, the barber's!"

At ze noodles behest, I submit, my first three piece suit:

This is my first suit with a tailor in Hong Kong, and we needed 5+ fittings to get it right (I have a huge drop apparently). The trousers ended up being too narrow, but I'm happy with it overall and the next ones improved on the remaining problems. I'll hopefully post some of those soon.

Cox: I really like that outfit. If there's any shoulder/hip discrepancy, it's not too obvious to me.
