Yeah, I've noticed that too when I stop in. I try going there every sunday when I go to the SoWa market right around there. I still haven't bought anything there. He has so much cool PRL stuff though.

I know what braces/suspenders are hahaha. Let me know if you're in town again sometime and we'll grab coffee or such. I said hey to noodles when he was around for a conference.

Heldentenor, those pants look like they were cut like boot-cut jeans. Could just be the angle or your position, but if they are cut as they appear and you really like them, it probably isn't expensive to have them modified.

Thanks, man! TBH,I didn't expect that tie to elicit so much positive response. Guess it makes me appreciate it more now, so thanks SF!

No, they're cut as every bit as awfully as they look; I just didn't see it until I looked at the pic (in the spirit of WAYWRN, I posted it anyway).

These were, I believe, the first pair of wool/cashmere trousers that I bought myself when I decided to try and look like an adult back in graduate school, and don't get worn very often. But the fabric is nice, so I think I'll get them tapered, shortened, and recuffed with something taller and less wide.

I'm torn between Oxford grey and some variety of chocolate/mocha/rust for that jacket. Any thoughts?

Glad you posted anyways and definitely glad you plan on taking them to the tailor. I would go with mid greg with that jacket. It's the safest bet.

Me too. I need to do more of that. Its mostly a laziness thing, or if it's a person who I have found to be disinterested in negative feedback in the past, I feel like it's not worth the time to try and be helpful.

    This.

Feedback received. I'll get at least one day a week up here. And I'm always open to critique.

No, let's have a recap. This all started because you complained about not getting enough thumbs, comparing yourself with Elio and asking why he got more than you. I merely answered your question, and explained why. 1) he was wearing a suit that's cut in a way that's very popular on SF 2) he was wearing a particular awesome tie 3) his picture quality was much better.
I also said that it doesn't mean there's anything wrong with your suit, and that I quite like the British style, except for the lapels. It's simply not a popular cut on SF at the moment, but who cares?

That's exactly what happened. For some strange reason you're getting all defensive, while I merely answered your question, and even gave you a compliment for getting a British suit. I bear you no ill will, but I do think you overreacted a little. Anyways, enjoy your bespoke Cad & The Dandy suit, and wear it in good health.
Suitsupply. I prefer the abbreviation SuSu, to avoid confusion.

FYI, you can put multiple pictures (even text) into one post.
