There's other threads for that actually. Look up tailor fit and feedback.

Post a picture of the label and both sides of the tag and we'll be able to tell you. Some of their made in mexico stuff is made at a zegna factory there. It's good stuff.

How's the hand feel of the fabric?

To everyone else, I think that this is a good example of the fact that fit is paramount and that suits even from 'those' places that are looked down upon here can look great if you know how things should fit and get some alterations for the rest. One can do far worse than some of the nicer JAB stuff, which are in fact made in the zegna factory in mexico!

Yeah, Italian suppliers are tough to deal with. I know companies with separate production managers whose entire jobs are to deal with Chinese and Italian factories, respectively. You have two completely different set of issues, apparently.

PM me, or email me at styleforum dot net at gmail.com, and I think that we can set something up. It seems to me that the Styleforum tie ought to be subtle dots on a navy grenadine, if such a thing exists, but let's start a new thread for that.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

I've been trying to get better shots out of my webcam setup. Still not great, and the angle of the close-up makes it look like I'm fat, which couldn't be further from the truth. I'm also not at all sure about any of the fit today. Almost convinced that it is a complete failure... oh, well, I'm here for the honest learning not for the likes.

deets: Dunhill suit (it's a hard 3 which is unusual for me); Dunhill shirt; vintage Boggi Milano tie annonymous vintage silk square; Harold Fithian mid-century silver links and bar; worn with (unseen) Mazarin burgundy socks and G&G Roshschilds in dark oak.

I can't really make out the pattern of the shirt, but it looks like Flyin' Monkey has pulled off the four-pattern bingo today.

Yes, it is. I've been occupied with other issues. But my intention is to post more than the last months.
