The jacket is too short, IMO. The hem should hit just below the crotch of the trousers, exactly for DB and at the minimum for SB. This will assure that your rear is covered.

Please disregard if you are going for the short jacket look seen in the fashion magazines.:)

Good question, no short answer. Like other English/Northamptonshire shoe makers the 70s and 80s (90s) proved testing times. How they approached the fight for survival was/is interesting. For example C & J decided to sell a patent for it's brand to be made and sold in South Africa. Positive? Yes, I suppose as it secured an income into a new market. Negative? Yes, I suppose as the quality of construction, design etc was markedly inferior and the 'brand' therefore takes a hit. Some of these shoes appear on fleabay to much consternation nowadays. Grenson, originally Green and Son, were a family run shoemaker steeped in the tradition of the craft. The company fell out of family hands in the 80's and was sold again in 2010. It might be said that changes made in these times have led to their range being more diverse.

    Probably Clags :smarmy:

Perhaps a touch short, but looks like a really nice jacket. What's the make and fabric?

    ^Love that shawl collar cardigan.

Still warm enough to wear cotton here, but that'll probably change very soon. Windy as hell though, hence the effed up hair.

Looking good. Every long shot you take looks like a postcard (meant in a good way).
