Yes. I think the should is what kept me from trying it for so long. I knew I was meeting up with some people in the park today and planed to take off the tie anyway in the afternoon. Imagine this without a tie. That's how I wore it most of the day.
Happy Friday. I always wanted to try a madras shirt and a tie. How did I do?

I think this sort of iteration is the only type that I’ve seen that I like, some madras and a dark navy knit or grenadine tie.
Same. That's exactly what I was going for. I think a dark brown knit tie would have worked here too.
Yeah after posting it got me thinking about our opposing views on style. Leaving aside my dislike of three press twos and your dislike of hard threes. And my devotion to flat front strides while you seem to have gone all-in on pleats (Urgh!?) ...Yes. I think the should is what kept me from trying it for so long.
