What do you mean 'get the red one'? I already have it. It's in my closet. I'll probably take it to the tailor in a bit to get the sleeves lengthened. The other two jackets (navy and brown) are there now.

I don't know if I would be able to wear the red one again this year since it's much more of a summer thing I think. Maybe I'll just wear it as is anyway, but the sleeves are definitely short.

Where is that blue jacket getting small, @ridethecliche ? Looks to fit quite well from the photos.
It's another security guard day for me.

On the chest sadly. It's not buttoned in any of the pictures. The lapels don't 'hug' my body when buttoned and gap a bit from my chest. It doesn't feel tight but it's going to start looking off in the next few months.

Also, one of my shoulders fits better than the other. No idea why that's happening. I think I've just spent too much time on here or I'd never have noticed!

It's definitely gorgeous, but at 39R, it's starting to push the limit for what I can wear. My BBGF suit (thrifted naturally) is a 40R and looks to be from the 90's (sand power lapels thank goodness). Everyone knows those things are cut pretty darn big so a Jpress 39R will quickly be too small.

I like the blue jacket, RTC, but I think the square is too much of a departure from the rest of the fit. Everything else in the top block is a shade of blue or white, so I think a white linen square would be better. Some might say that's a bit formal, but I think given the white in the tie and the trad cues in the rig, I think it would fly. Maybe some kind of light blue square for full-bore tone on tone could work, too, but then you're, you know, full-bore tone-on-tone.

Are those wingtip double monks? [IMG]

May I ask who made them?

Yeah. PS was a bit bold, but I think it looks fine from a distance. I probably have a few others that might have been better. Perhaps one in a more rust/burnt orange color.

Regarding the shoes: they're cole haans. Styling is cool but they suck hardcore. The quality is pretty crappy and I've had to use shoe goo on them because the sole is starting to separate and is wearing out stupid fast. I'm going to wait till the soles look boston brahmin esque and then chuck them in the bloody charles. Well not that last part, but I want to.

Yeah, I've owned my share of Haans. I'd buy the bit loafers again. I have a pair of wingtips that are slowly reaching beater status, but they're comfy. But, I mean, I paid a little over half what AE seconds cost, so that wasn't so clever.

More about that Autumn life: navy, burgundy and olive. I wish I had worn brown shoes or different socks, but not both. I had a lapel flower like this, but I lost it in Venice over christmas break. I finally bought a new one.

Thanks. The brand is Gutteridge. I picked it up on sale for about 15 or 25 euro in Florence. 100% wool. I wish they had stores in the U.S.

    Wow.
What you do is very respectible.
    Thumbs up to you.
(I was tempted to make a stupid joke regatding the middle finger but that's inappropriate in this case).
