Welcome back and a great first post! I like the restrained colour palette with the pop of colour from the square. Is that a Sartoria Partenopea suit? If so, your shoulders look very different from mine, a bit bigger. Maybe I should've sized up:

The tie is from Andrew's Ties, which did have a shop (two, actually, for a short while) in Manhattan, and was a useful venue for solid ties in every shade of color imaginable. The shops have disappeared - whether the company is entirely out of business, I don't know.

but bro. Your blog template is a little too confusing. Something more simple would help alot. Oh and move your pics to tumblr and win the internet forever.

Good look. Pants look pretty tight though, are you all scrunched up in there? I'm personally struggling with finding some pants with slightly fuller thighs and seat but still tapered below the knee.

It's an easy alteration to taper trousers below the knee, even for fuller pants.

I really like this, Claghorn, but I am wondering about your thought process when picking the pattern. I have a similar navy SC with a light windowpane and when I post pics I get a lot of "looks like part of a suit"/ "wish the pattern was bigger", etc.

    Very cool shirt, HF.

Why did this not get more thumbs?! It's almost as if thumbs are not a perfect way of determining things.

I know. More a rant comment about not having RTW that fits me perfectly.

I'm thinking about it. But I'm a weirdo with odd pants. I wear them much less than suits, so I have a mental block about paying that price. Gotta get over that.

Just take a trip to your local GAP and try on some pants. That should help you clear the mental hurdle.

Nothing against Crispy, but I'm not seeing why this is getting so much love. It's three odd grey pieces thrown together....not a three piece suit.
