    Feeling very purple today...

Deets: Dunhill suit, pale blue BB Golden Fleece shirt, *loud* Duchamp tie, Post-Imperial cream square, with unseen Norwegian sterling mid-century links and tiebar, purple socks and black C&J Hallam captoes.

Just completed the first of a bunch of videos for online learning....appearing natural and comfortable on video is no easy feat, for me at least.

Thanks! You don't look so bad yourself [IMG]

Wish I knew more about the pants! Thrifted, unknown maker but the content tag is in German.. Well made, excellent fit, just had them tapered a bit.

It doesn't really say much except "100% Reine Schurwolle", and I could sort of figure that out myself [IMG] Thanks for the offer though!

PS I really liked your fit a couple pages back, awesome lapels!

That PS detail, absolutely superb. A couple of tack stitches to keep it in place?

I see my 'don't fiddle with your tie' has created a bit of a discussion. Let me clarify. It's the one piece of clothing advice I remember taking from my usually rather stylish Granddad. He meant: just put it on in the morning and how the knot turns out, that's how it's going to be for the day. Some days the knot will be a bit too big, or the dimple be off centre, but at least it won't be perfect. I know guys like Spoo get a lot of love here for their perfectly knotted ties, but to me it looks contrived and too slick. Gives me the itch, but I'm not exactly the OCD kind.
Anyway, I don't think he'd ever heard of Mr. Attolini, but that motto in my sig could have been from my granddad: 'elegance is not perfection'
