That suit is excellent, a navy knit or grenadine tie would have been even better.

Thank you - and I totally agree. But i needed to push it a bit further today. The natural choise would be grenadine, navy or brown

Today's outfit: Self isolation, day 18. Shades of green and blue, along with my standard "navy blazer + something" combination.

Today was the last class of my second week of online teaching. It seems I've settled into some semblance of a rhythm, which is a welcome change from the shapeless stretch of time we experienced at the beginning of this era, when my university president had suspended classes, and given faculty the week to convert to online. Imposing a schedule and a routine makes a world of difference.

But I count the days until we can return to the outside world. I'm afraid it's only going to get worse, before it gets better.

Threads cited:
Shirt and tie: Brooks Brothers.
Custom DB blazer: Coppley, from Grady Ervin, Charleston.
Trousers: Berle, from M. Dumas, Charleston.
Bryford socks from an old dry cleaner in downtown Warner Robins.
Vintage items from eBay and thrift: Trafalgar braces, tie bar, Alden tassel loafers.
Antique linen pocket square from a dear friend.
Warby Parker glasses.
Timex Weekender watch with Smart Turnout watchband.

Are you guys all living in places where you're still allowed to go outside or are you dressing up like this to lie around the house? (Previous poster online teacher chappy excluded) .

I'm also an online teacher chappy, but I don't use video. I'm in Massachusetts, where the lockdown does not prohibit going out for a walk, fetching groceries, etc.

I'm in an "essential" field (law), so I'm at the office ~3 days a week still, mostly because it's more difficult for me to get into a working mindset and focus while I'm at home (with a 4-year-old there, too). I've not been dressing up unless I have a "meeting" with someone on Zoom or whatever. Looks like my upcoming mediations will be conducted via Zoom as well, so I'll be dressed up in the office for those.

Still allowed to move freely here, but taking extreme caution. These photos were actually taken for a campaign I did for Eton shirts though, so not something I wore for any social function.
