In Westwood Village (where UCLA is) earlier today trying to decide if I want what's behind door number one or door number two as well as showing the suede elbow patches on my jacket match my suede shoes.

Brooks Brothers jacket and sweater vest, L L Bean OCBD shirt, Bow Tie Club tie, Jim Thompson pocket square, Orvis cord trousers, Eddie Bauer argyle socks, and Allen-Edmonds suede shoes.

For fans of "Piece-Of-A-Person" pictures, a piece of a person with a turkey sandwich at Audrey At The Hammer in the Armand Hammer Museum in Westwood Village picture.

Looked a the wine list there, which included Chateau Cos d’Estournel, Saint-Estephe 2006 for $500.00. Wonder how many people order a $500.00 bottle of wine to have with their lunch?

What I have been wearing today? An off-center tie, apparently. The cameraman took the trouble of asking me to adjust it but he did not seem to mind the end result. I asked him and he said it was perfect. Alas, nitpickers gotta nitpick. So I present you a different post from the usual fare in the forum.
I am exiled in Europe while the coronavirus ravages parts of China, and as this was impromptu, I did not have my A game. Alas yet again. Mock it at will.

It’s extraordinary the details that we see versus the average person. The off center tie looks very sprezzy especially with the vest. I have no idea why someone would call that “perfect”. Anyway you look great as always.

After two day of rain here in NYC, the sun has returned, and to celebrate, I've suited up. Normally, I wear this suit with a blue or a white shirt, but thought that I would experiment with a pink one.

Suit - New & Lingwood
Shirt & tie - Brooks Brothers
Cufflinks - Longmire
Braces - Paul Stuart
Pocket square - Harvie & Hudson
Shoes - Crockett & Jones
Overcoat - Adolfo
Scarf - Ede & Ravenscroft
Hat - Laird
