What's your verdict on Bexley shoes?

Quite decent for the money - the pair shown are about seven years old, but, in all fairness, they are not worn that often (the size of my shoe collection being what it is . . . :embar: ).

X-post (and likely to be disqualified from) the Friday Challenge... clearly not your average work outfit, this is because I have to go to a late summer garden party to welcome new grad students directly from work today. Oh, and just because I can... the jacket is really hard to put together with a tie, and I came to the conclusion that either you have to make everything else you wear this with sit right back in the mix (i.e. go for whites, creams, lighter greys and silvers) or you just don't wear a tie with it at all.

Deets: bespoke peak-lapel jacket by Cad and the Dandy in Dashing Tweeds Regents Park Check; CT black label shirt; Ralph Lauren purple label silver silk knit tie; simple white cotton hank; BB white linen trousers; plus unseen Paul Smith purple and green socks and taupe grey suede Santoni captoes.

And, yes, I do I look tired and washed out today... the after effects of a hard half-marathon on Saturday, I think.

@sugarbutch , I like that a lot, red tie and all - others may not, but it's a nice bit of late summer / transitional boldness.

@Coxsackie , I prefered your fit better from a distance. Close up, there seems to be a little too much going on with the different patterns. I still like it though.

@SeamasterLux
Question: is the shirt collar a singe or double button? It looks like a double button height collar from the photo.
P.S. I am not stalking you and this will be my last question regarding technical details of your HK tailor sourced fits. I promise. Thanks.

I do like solid as well but like the fact that patterns need a little more work

The shirt collar is a single button, I don't have any shirt with two buttons at the collar, don't like these.

Thanks for the P.S. I was starting to wonder

What I wore to work (probably should have worn a solid shirt, on reflection)

What was awaiting me at work...new (to me) Canali straight out of the box.
