That jacket looks too boxy to my eye Heldentor. You might want to scroll back a page to check out Mossrocks fit. His db is a lot more fitted. And your cuffs seem very loose ( and a tad long). Are the shoes Meermin ? Very nice.

I think that the angle of your shot minimizes any shape that your jacket has, and your shirt sleeves look long, making your jacket sleeves look short. I would interested to see this jacket straight on, with a different shirt (or with the same shirt with the sleeves pulled in a bit).

Thanks for the feedback, @upr_crust and @steffenbp11 . This is the jacket's maiden voyage, and it's a size up from my usual 38. Fit in the shoulders is perfect but I think a bit of shaping and suppression in the waist might be in order. Sleeves on the shirt are just a bit long which, as Crusty notes, is compounded by the angle of the photograph.

Thanks for the compliments on the shoes, Steffen--they are MTO from Allen Edmonds back when one could still do such things without an up charge. Bitter chocolate suede, Dainite soles with leather midsoles, built on the Mora 2.0 body.

I agree that the jacket seems boxy. I thought your pants were tapered too much at first but your pants seem to fit right. Like Steff says, Moss has a similar look done well. Hope this helps

to be fair, the angle may not be doing @heldentenor favors—i've learned how to pose to trick everybody to think i look great

also, I must say, this is probably the best-fitting jacket I own across the upper back and sleeve pitch, etc. My tailor knows what I like and I've had it slimmed most recently (post-weight-loss). But I'm humbled by the fact y'all like it!
