@SeamasterLux I expect this is another "good value" look and fit sourced from your HK tailor. The roped shoulders look great and the bengal stripe shirt and pocket square pop against the light grey window pane fabric. Well done.

I would like to see the same ensemble with a navy grenadine grossa tie too, which might elevate it even more. But that's just my own bias towards solids (rather than patterns) coming out.

Question: is the shirt collar a singe or double button? It looks like a double button height collar from the photo.
P.S. I am not stalking you and this will be my last question regarding technical details of your HK tailor sourced fits. I promise. Thanks. [IMG]

Very nice. You're confusing peeps Kulata. The navy< grey principle doesn't apply to casual fits like this.

    Well done Pliny.

Great to see shoes that have obviously had a lot of love.

Conservative suit, non-conservative tie. (Most probably a better choice for last week's Friday Challenge than I made, but, so it goes . . .)

    Suit - BB MTM
    Shirt - Lewin
    Tie - Paul Stuart
Cufflinks - Metropolitan Museum of Art
    Vintage watch chain
Shoes - Bergdorf Goodman house brand

It's surprising how a conservative three-piece suit can mute a loud tie.

    Thanks Pliny.

You are right. Navy is more useful for casual fits like the one I wore but a lot of people have written off navy as a whole in anything outside of a suit or odd jacket.

    Excellent stuff as always, Pliny.

Finally had a chance to wear a tie this weekend for dinner with the wife (went to Providence in LA), and decided to make it my new @Henry Carter burnt orange knit:

Wearing the blazer suit jacket as a blazer today. Buttons are grey-brown horn BTW, not that you can see them here...

Deets: light blue CT shirt, vintage 60s Brooks Bros tie, anonymous vintage 60s square; unseen: lightweight mid-grey trousers, green Mazarin socks; Bruno Magli Platinum chestnut captoes.
