Greetings, y'all. My only excuse for my long hiatus is moving. The books were first to be organized, followed by the clothing. I know that many of y'all might do that in reverse, but, as Merlin reminded us from _The Sword in the Stone_, books are always first, you know.

I took a jaunt up to Atlanta yesterday to meet a fellow SF member. @jiredell was kind enough to indulge me for a meeting, while we both "glowed" like Georgia peaches on a balmy day. We had a long conversation about fiction, Melville, and Shakespeare. Coffee was sipped. Bourbon was quaffed. Noses were thumbed. Below I have posted proof of our meeting, for inquiring minds.

The Internet is better in real life.
You shouldn't lend him one of your jackets.

Thanks! Yes, S&M.
Love it!
I have a Suitsupply suit in similar cobalt blue PoW with sky blue overcheck in wool linen mix. One of my favourite suits which I think I’ll dig out his week for a meeting.
I also wear it with a rust brown tie and “infantile” tan shoes!! - great minds!

@Betelgeuse

Why
condemn such an excellent fit with those “farmer brown” shoes and fire engine red socks?

A smart pair of black oxfords or better still a very deep burgundy, and simple or mildly patterned pair of darker socks, and you would have killed it completely.

Amazing combo, Airforce Blue POW suit and multi color block-striped necktie. That’s enough eye candy. Keep the rest simple.
