Thanks Pliny, appreciate the feedback.
Our five days of celebration continues, today including a photo shoot (all done ourselves via remote and tripod). Dressed up with our bikes in the back yard
eHaberdasher Benjamin suit
Meermin dub-monks (couldn't resist the sockless look)
Calvin Klein dress (on her)
Spoiler: Bonus Casual Shot
Kent Wang navy polo
J.Crew popover (on her)
I think it looks fine as it is. I'm not sure why you'd want to further suppress the waist: with that buttoning point I think it might begin to pull if it were any tighter.
Chalk stripe suit has normal structure. Tie with bone jacket is navy cashmere. Need to improve photography skills...
Suede loafers with that suit, spectre? If so, nice. If not, still nice.
Luv2be, that brown suit look is great.
Here's what I wore the last time I got dressed in clothes worth taking a picture of.
Thrifted coat/Isaia shirt/J. Press square/J. Crew pants/Cole Haan shoes
@mgd83 - I am afraid the square is a little too giddy up cowboy for pinstripes.
I'm not sure I understand the complaint about contrast here. I like this combination quite a bit.
Thanks and yes, you are crazy but so am I because I have no contrast at all - grey suit, grey tie and dark brown suede loafers.
Who cares? I think we both look fabulous.
@mossrockss , that's a helluva backyard!
Glad you two are having fun!
Nor I, but I love the SC.
This. And as far as the shoes and tie, I think there does not really need to be any contrast there. I know Elio will agree with me.
AAS - I would love that DB seersucker as a full suit, with lighter suede shoes, that either have laces or are loafers without bits.
Pliny...I refuse to give up my position as the thread's self-appointed curmudgeon.
Silk knits and grenadines...probably both about the same. I like them both too, just find myself reaching for grenadines more.
I have patterned ties I wear like Cappellis but they are all subtle in the range of tchoy's. My suits and coats are pretty much the same as his too but I do have grey POW suits in both flannel and tropical worsted which are about as FU as the Goldfinger suit. He looks much better in his stuff but I may be helped I think by a better camera.
Because my stuff is so subdued no details get picked up with the one I have at the moment.
Yes, there does seem to be more posted which is understated but maybe that's because I've frightened the others off with my charm....I'm rambling now.
No, I don't drink - at all - if that's what you're thinking.
Connery or Gert Frobe?
or possibly this one on the right?
Hi guise, getting on a roll with simplicity. Tan & navy.
Separate names with a comma.
