I understand but I can assure you that the Chelsea's spent no more time in the snow than just for the pictures. I wore the outfit for work but I wear other shoes on my way to and from work.

@jcmeyer That is a smashing jacket. Bit longer than the suit you posted a few pages back?

Thanks man! It was made to the same specs, so if the length is any different it would be by a minuscule amount. Hits the same place on my thumb. Just goes to show what the photo angle and slight variations in other visual cues can do to change the perception of length. Or maybe there's no such thing as length at all...

I noticed in pics from this years Pitti Uomo that pairing winter weight sportcoats with white cotton slacks seems to be a thing . . . This is my take on that look. Besides, it was time to take my turtleneck out of retirement.

Thank you for the advice. Yeah I'm not even going to try and reason out of it. I have just been lazy and not been attending to simple things like starching the shirt and shinning my shoes. Although I wholeheartedly agree with your wider tie point, sadly this is the only tie I had close enough to the suit's colour to get that monochromatic look.

    Thanks

Had my friend use portrait mode on our trip to get some ramen for this cold weather. I also took a @Roycru -esque shot while I made a tiny stand for my chopsticks featuring the bowl. A nice maiden voyage for the shirt as well.

    Hic et ubique?

    ...never shall,
With arms encumber’d thus, or this head-shake,
Or by pronouncing of some doubtful phrase,
As ‘Well, we know’, or ‘We could and if we would’,
Or ‘If we list to speak’; or ‘There be and if they might’,
    Or such ambiguous giving out...

(my most sincere apologies Monsieur Alain for breaking my promise again)

@Alocin that jacket looks like it fits you well.

I too have a new brown jacket. Fox flannel glenplaid although not that noticeable.

@Alocin I think the shirt could do with being a couple of shades lighter to offer a bit more contrast. It's a great looking jacket though, and the ramen looks delicious.
