I have no problem with the trouser/jacket pairing. The shoes, in that pic, look a bit too bright/reddish to me. A chocolate hue would have worked better,IMO.

Killer. While the natural instinct might be to wear an orange-ish tie to pop that color in the coat, I think how you wore it is best. Keeps an otherwise kicking jacket quite grounded.
