A9E424C5-8B6D-463F-8A4B-074BDF244CF3.jpeg I struggle with this tie (from Wesley in Portugal) and as a consequence wear it very rarely. In case the colours are not clear, it’s a chalky textured brown base with green, blue and red in the pattern. I think it’s a bit too muted and similar with this jacket (a darker brown would have been better) but I am not sure what else it would pair with. (Shirt Is actually sky blue btw). I have a dark green jacket that might be worth a try perhaps. Any thoughts?

Given the blue details in the pattern it would work very well with a navy jacket, or even a suit.

Thanks. Something about the dusty brown never seems to pair well with any of my blue jackets. Tried it with blue and green when I got home. I think I prefer the green (pity the jacket doesn’t fit very well).

Did you say dark blue donegal? I'll wear it with navy suede drivers and no socks to cool you down so as not to need that shower. HA!

I would go with a more saturated navy blue jacket. Flannel if you have it! Personally I think the green is still not enough contrast.

I have been knotting my ties this way since I use a tie.
    Any opinion welcomed!

You should consider using collar stays.
