I have always struggled with this cashmere tie (Petronius for Al Bazar, but Drakes have a tie in the same cloth). Does it work here with another blue tone? Grey suiting is the suggested match, but it never seems to look right when I try.

Don’t think it works with the jacket at all.

What is the field color on the shirt, light blue or grey? Regardless fancy stripe shirts are exceedingly difficult to pull off (how many do you see on this thread or anywhere else on the site?). Id reserve for dark solid suit and solid tie.

Try it with a navy suit and that same tie, that might work nicely.

Yesterday's fit, really should have changed the watch strap. The NATO is a bit too casual for the fit.

Maybe you should try a dark ale next time ...

Ha. Once the heat relents, my beer will in fact darken.

@dazedstate Nice jacket and well paired with the mid grey trou and polo suede loafers. Are the socks brown?

Thank you. They are indeed a light brown. Not the best choice but made in haste

Yes. I am really happy with the cloth/color as well. Jacket needs a couple tweaks and that will be good too.
