I would have to agree with you - the lighting is much more flattering than the previous location, and the DIY project is ongoing, so the venue will be put into service tomorrow.

Personally I found it hard to adjust to the first change, to cope with a second one so quickly is asking a lot.

Exceptionally sleazy (in a good way). You do the 70s proud

Though you might need an extra button (or two) undone to really nail the era ha.

I
why, it looks pretty good, I know the forum has a love for soft shoulder, but this doesn't look bad in any way

Because I always want to wear the jacket more casually ie. no tie and with loafers or suede shoes and I then I feel the shoulders are structured and I want to put a tie on.

Not bad - I would undo another button. Throw in a puffed square. Own it :smarmy:

Towards the end of the night, I did just that - however, with co-workers present, I wanted to tow the line for at least a little while...

Kiwis do not dress up. It’s the opposite. It’s pretty bleak to be honest, to the point that people wonder why I’m “so dressed up” - I get that comment more than an actual compliments on what I’m wearing. I’m in a borderline city, so reasonable population, but no proper conservative business dress as such. Dire situation really.
My heartfelt condolences. A feeling I know very well. Keep up the good fight!
